Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, a Cuban/American TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years of age, moved to Miami together with the family. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is the host of the Telemundo Show "Caso Cerrado" which is an Spanish TV show which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was ranked as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm for key demonstrations. Polo was born on the 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. She then earned an PhD in law from the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty years in Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized for other court-related programs. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she released her story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo was an ovarian cancer survivor, often raises funds for this cause and speaks at events. Over the course of her career, she has fought to ensure LGBT equality. She is a 1987 graduate from The University of Miami School of Law and is a Florida Bar member.
