Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is a Filipino American performer as well as a comedian, host of a television show and model. Panganiban was dubbed as the Queen of Drama by various media. Panganiban's range of talents and expertise in the field of acting is widely appreciated. Her illness was an aggressive strain of the strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed Angelica Hale on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. The patient was suffering from multiple organ dysfunction, including failing kidneys. It was then a regimen of hemodialysis, followed by the peritoneal dilation. After 80 straight days in the hospital from the point of death to a long journey to recovery she finally made it home but her life forever changed. Angelica, after a year of dialysis and a half, was now ready to undergo the biggest surgery ever - the replacement of her kidney. The donor kidney would come from only her mother. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom underwent an operation to transplant their kidneys in two renowned hospitals just close to one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her stardom dreams ever since.
